One of the standout features of any team is when you reflect the diversity of the patients you serve.
I do not mean just skin color, gender, or education. I mean deeper factors such as culture, language, and lived experience with the same struggles.
This activates shared empathy to build trusted relationships. And, helps build products and services that truly address underlying unmet needs.
Note: This is neither necessary nor sufficient to deliver great care…just an underutilized superpower to move faster and make a bigger impact.
