Help someone up the mountain, and you get to the top, too.

I’ve been to many conferences—but the BAPS Charities Healthcare Professionals Conference in Houston, Texas this weekend was different.

The gathering of 1,000+ doctors, nurses, pharmacists, PT/OT, health leaders, and even students from across the country wasn’t solely about healthcare improvement or professional growth.

Main hall at HCP 2025, the session "Transformative Role of AI in Healthcare" underway in front of a packed audience.

—The focus was on personal transformation.

And that if we EACH made this commitment (and lived up to it), then the collective impact on our health system will be immeasurable.

Speaking at the HCP 2025 main stage.

Here are some other powerful takeaways I noted for myself:

→ Treat everyone as divine. See the good in everyone.

→ Help someone up the mountain, and you get to the top, too.

→ Achievement ≠ Fulfillment. Think beyond yourself. Think bigger.

An incredible spirit of service echoed throughout the weekend, giving new meaning to words of our late Guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj:

“In the joy of others lies our own.”

A few moments backstage with the sadhus at HCP 2025.

Recharged & inspired—now it’s time to put these insights into blissful action!
